About Invitations
I’m excited that Horace actually wrote about our hand-made invitation cards on his personal blog! We firstly started making cards with stamps from Janice who coached the ‘team’ for fundraising at World Youth Day 2005. (Janice: It has become a popular idea, isn’t it? ^^) Yes, they look unique and special – but what I really think that benefits the most is the process of creating something from scratch. Horace actually took part in making them! We were ‘forced’ to sit together for hours and hours to cut, glue, paste, hammer, heat, tie, print… During the process, we were chatting about life philosophies (well, I didn’t get into Nietzche… thank goodness) and the times when he were working in India! I think that this is the wonderful of ART! Art can open doors for communication, love, and peace. On a daily city life, it seems difficult for us to talk, or sometimes to be on the same page. (I wonder if any of our readers here share this feeling too!)
Indeed, the precious moment characters truly represents about the ‘precious moment’ that we shared to spread our messages to all of you — dance together, laugh together, jerk around together, cry together… that is what true friendship is all about, which will be the building block to our marriage road ahead!
Thanks for sharing the PRECIOUS MOMENT with us! 🙂
The cards are truly beautiful pieces of art, creativity ,patience and fun!
I will keep them as a memento from both of you.
Praise God and God bless both of you.
